Sundance 2012

Just some of the films coming out of Sundance that I am looking forward to seeing this year. In no particular order.

  1. Bachelorette - on the heels of Bridesmaids another raunchy lady comedy.
  2. Sleepwalk With Me - Mike Birbiglia brings the touching and humorous story of his sleepwalking problems to film
  3. Safety Not Guaranteed - Mark Duplass decides to build a time machine. Aubrey Plaza and Jake Johnson investigate strange ad for travelling companions
  4. Hello, I Must Be Going - Melanie Lynsky is a 35 yrs old woman who moves back home and begins an affair with 19 year old boy in town.
  5. Red Hook Summer - new Spike Lee
  6. Celeste and Jesse Forever - Rashida Jones and Andy Samberg play a couple who divorce but try to remain friends
  7. For A Good Time Call - Ari Graynor starts a phone sex hotline with roomate. Another raunchy lady comedy
  8. The Surrogate - John Hawkes play a man in an iron lung who wants to lose his virginity.
  9. The Words - Bradley Cooper plays a man who discovers a manuscript in a gift given to him by his wife Zoe Saldana and goes to publish the book as his own. (no photo)
  10. The Queen of Versailles - Documentary about a couple to who try to the build the biggest mansion in America during economic crisis. (no photo)
